Valentine's & CNY Dinner @ Bintang Revolving Restaurant, Federal Hotel KL


Valentine's day is coming real soon and you are at a lost where to have a romantic dinner with your loved ones? How about one which offers a 360 degrees view in the heart of KL? What about Chinese New Year you ask? They also have set dinner for that. So what are you waiting for? Read on and find out more about how you could book a table before others do..


Located on the 18th floor of The Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the Bintang Revolving Restaurant is Malaysia's first Revolving restaurant


It offers a stunning panaromic KL Skyline night view which is sure to impress your date, friends or family members.


It revolves one full round every 15 minutes so you could view the whole of KL on a 360 degrees view while enjoying your meal with those that matters most to you. Let's move on to the Valentine's Set dinner which would only be served on the 14th of February, 5pm -12 midnight.


For Starters, they have the Broccoli & Potato Cream soup with roasted almond which would warm you up for the night


Then for the appetizer, you would be served the Carpaccion de Salmon which is the Marinated Fresh Salmon with fresh green salad with dill yogurt dressing


Then comes the main course where one could choose between Baked Tenderloin in Fillo Pastry with mushroom stuffings


Or choose the Surf & Turf which consists of Lobster Thermidor and Grilled Chicken Breast served with wild mushroom sauce. The creamy cheese on the lobster is a definite must eat for all seafood and cheese lover


End it with a love shaped dessert, the passion fruit mousse with berries plus lime sherbet

You also have a choice between Iced Lemon tea or fresh brewed coffee. So how much for a romantic dinner for 2 here? It's only RM288 nett per couple with one exclusive Valentine's gift per couple.


Next up we have the Chinese New Year Double Happiness set dinner serving from now till end of February 5pm to 12 midnight


One would be served with a heart warming double boiled chicken and lotus root with Chinese herbs. You can't get more Chinese than this =)


Next up would be the appetizer of seafood glass noodle with honey plum sauce with a hint of spiciness


For main, you could also choose between two main course, the Oven Baked Rack of Lamb with Garlic Brown Sauce, cooked to medium rare, it's a definite must try for all lamb lovers. It's served with fresh sauteed vegetables and berney potato


You could also choose the other main which would be the Grilled Salmon with Honey Light Soya served with sauteed fresh vegetables & butter rice with Enoki Mushroom


End the night with a dessert of Nutella Tartlet and strawberries and Lime Sherbet

I was at my friends place some time ago and he is one who always bragged about how many girlfriends he has outside. Oh. By the way he has is married. We were having tea at his place because of some "business" proposals to settle. He was seating quietly reading his morning paper drinking coffee with me.
