KL Tower's Merdeka Madness is back again in 2024!


KL Tower's Merdeka Madness Campaign is back again this year with more promotions, events and discounts in conjunction with the Independence Month of Malaysia running from the 1st of August till Malaysia Day on 16th September. The Campaign Launch event started with live performances from KL Tower's own in house band, The Sky Band.


Mr. Nazli bin Saad, Chief Executive Officer of Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn. Bhd. in his opening speech said that this is the second year that the Merdeka Madness Promotion was held to encourage more local tourist to visit KL Tower and as a token of appreciation for the years of support from local Malaysians since its establishment in 1996, a 60% discount would be given on all entrance tickets to KL Tower attractions during the campaign period.


In the Campaign Launching speech by YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, he mentioned that the success of the Merdeka Madness Campaign in the previous year is proof that Malaysia. with its unique culture and tourism attractions is becoming more of a chosen destination to domestic and international tourists citing an increase of 22.9% in domestic visitors to reach the 210.9 million visitors in year 2023 which shows an increased interest towards domestic tourism destinations.


Stating that the promotional ticket price as low as RM6, YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan even joked that it's even cheaper than bus tickets, encouraging fellow Malaysians to support this tourism promotion initiative by bringing our friends and family members to come visit KL Tower and the surrounding scenery.


YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan also officiated the launch of the KL Tower Merdeka Madness Campaign.


Reminds me of the good old school days during the Merdeka Month when I was given the Malaysian Flag.

Now for the part everyone was waiting for, the promotion price!! Note: this promotion is only valid for MyKad and MyKid card holders. The entrance fee to the Sky Deck is now RM28 for adult and RM15 for child while for the observation deck, the adult ticket is only RM12 and RM8 for child. Trust me it doesn't go any lower than this and the best part is the Tower Walk 100 with all the equipment for the 360 view walk around KL Tower, it is only going for RM8 for adults and RM6 for child. 

Other activities which would be held during KL Tower's Merdeka Madness Campaign period includes the "Colours of Malaysia Tower Lighting" where the KL Tower would be lighted up in the Malaysian Flag Colours, Photography Competition, Independence day poetry competition, durian festival, food trucks, musical and cultural shows and many more.
